It is true that both the variety and simplicity of our everyday dishes are enough to blow the minds of non-Indians. And we would be lying if we say that we weren't a tad bit proud of the fact that the Indian cuisine enjoys such a staunch fan base worldwide. We love seeing people from all over the world try our food and fall in love with it as we have. Naturally, it makes us even happier when the food receives a positive review, in the form of a simple smile, a positive remark, or a wholesome action. An Italian man took his approval for the Indian cuisine to the next level and decided to dance off to show his love for the food.
'indian_italian_couple' is a page on Instagram run by Amit and Ambra where they share a slice of their life as an interracial couple and how they have adjusted to each other's cultures and values. And how can food be far behind when we talk of culture, right? In one of the most recent videos posted on the page, Ambra's father, who is an Italian man, can be seen trying the classic Indian street food samosa for the first time. If you are a samosa lover, you are instantly going to fall in love with his reaction. As he takes the first bite of the samosa, we can see him trying to contemplate the explosion of flavours that he just bit into for a second. And right after it has hit him, he does what most of us would still do after biting into a delicious samosa - he breaks into a dance! The comment section on the video was soon flooded by people, especially Indians approving of his reaction. "This is the most epic reaction I've ever seen by someone," read one comment while the other read, "love the reaction" and "That's a unique way to eat Samosa".
Seeing his super fun reaction to samosa, many listed out other Indian delicacies that he should be trying too. One comment read "Briyani nhi kelayeee kya..turulob"(Has he not tasted biryani yet, it is true love), while the other read "He should try Paani puri" and "Make him try Pakodi of Biharigarh".
One of the comments even went to the extent of saying that such is the power of Indian food that he would want to settle down in India for it. "Sir ko pani puri, pav bhaji , idali dhosa , khaman dhokala......etc,yeh bhi taste karwa do, India settled hone ki zidd karenge" (Please let him try pani puri, pav bhaji, Idli, dosa and khaman dhokla too. He would want to settle down in India for these foods).
