How To Make Butter Chicken Khichdi:
To make butter chicken khichdi, you need rice, chicken, tomato puree, onion, curd, cream, salt, red chilli powder, butter, bay leaf, sugar, kasoori methi, ginger-garlic paste, cinnamon stick, garam masala, turmeric powder, cloves and cardamom.
Marinate the chicken pieces with curd, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli and salt. Keep aside. Then in a cooker add butter, whole spices, onion and fry. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook. Then pour the tomato puree, salt, red chilli, turmeric, sugar and cook for some time. Add the chicken pieces and cook for 5 minutes.
Finally, add the soaked rice, water, mix everything together and close the lid. Pressure-cook for some time and then, open the lid and soak the water. Sprinkle kasoori methi, mix everything and serve hot.
