Celebrity diets and fitness regimes are a source of much curiosity among people. What exactly do our favourite celebrities eat that keeps them in such good shape? There's no single answer, and it's always good to consult a qualified dietitian before undertaking any diet. Recently, we caught a sneak peek into one celebrity's healthy diet that may leave you surprised. Football legend David Beckham recently revealed the diet of his wife Victoria Beckham in a podcast. He said that his wife Victoria had been eating the same thing for the last 25 years! Don't believe us? Here are all the details you need to know.
David Beckham made the starting revelation on 'River Cafe Table 4', a podcast hosted by the eponymous London restaurant's founder Ruth Rogers. She regularly invites famous personalities and speaks to them about their relationship with food. David Beckham was the most recent guest in the podcast, and he spoke at length about his diet as well as his wife's.
In the 25-minute podcast, he said that he often sneaks in his favourite meals when his wife is not at home. David Beckham enjoys the occasional steak and wine to unwind and indulge. However, he can't share this meal with his wife Victoria Beckham as she been eating the same thing ever since the duo met. "Unfortunately, I'm married to someone that has eaten the same thing for the last 25 years," he said in the first part of the two-part podcast. "Since I met her, she only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables, she will very rarely deviate from that," he added.
However, there was a time when the former 'Spice Girls' member deviated from her usual diet and shared a meal with her husband - when she was pregnant. "The only time she's probably ever shared something that's been on my plate was actually when she was pregnant with Harper and it was the most amazing thing. It was one of my favourite evenings. I can't remember what it was but I know she's not eaten it since," revealed David Beckham in the podcast.
Interestingly, Victoria Beckham had also shared her favourite healthy dessert - a healthy apple cinnamon muffin that is plant-based and gluten-free. A report by Hello revealed that she shared the same on her Instagram stories. "This is seriously my favourite healthy dessert. 10/10recommend," she wrote in the caption of her story.
