The holiday season is here, and Bollywood celebrities are spreading the festive cheer! On Christmas, actress Bhumi Pednekar shared her special plum cake recipe, and trust us, it's a treat you don't want to miss. The 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha' star took to Instagram to show off her baking skills, sharing the step-by-step process of making a delicious Christmas cake from scratch. While Bhumi admits she's not an expert in the kitchen, she's certainly got baking down to an art. In the reel, Bhumi starts by mixing together dry ingredients: gluten-free flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and clove. She then prepares the wet ingredients by melting butter and coconut oil in a pan, adding orange juice, stevia, molasses, lemon zest, and condensed milk. Once everything is ready, she combines the wet and dry ingredients into a smooth batter.

Once the batter takes on a golden-brown hue, Bhumi tops it with soaked dry fruits-black raisins, brown raisins, green raisins, and walnuts-then mixes it all together. Next, she greases a baking tray with butter and carefully pours the batter in. After topping it with chopped walnuts, she bakes the cake in a preheated oven for an hour.

And if you're wondering, even Bhumi's adorable dog makes a cameo in the video! The two of them eagerly await the cake to bake, and when it's done, Bhumi pulls the plum cake out of the oven, digs in, and calls it "amazing!" She captions the post, "Whisking up some Christmas magic!" along with a Christmas tree and cake emoji. Curious about how Bhumi's Christmas tree turned out? Check it out!
