Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently in Australia. On his second day visit to Sydney, he addressed a community event at the Qudos Bank Arena. Thousands of Indians and Australians packed the arena to hear PM Modi's speech. The Indian Prime Minister discussed India-Australia relations, as well as common topics such as cricket, democracy and yoga. However, one topic that stood out and resonated with the Indian audience was the mention of chaat. During his speech in Sydney, PM Modi highlighted the popular eateries in Sydney where one can indulge in chaat and jalebi. You can watch the complete video here:

"Jab khane ki baat chali hai, aur chaat ki baat chali hai toh Lucknow ka naam aana bhi swaabhavik hai (When it comes to food, and specifically chaat, it is only natural to mention Lucknow)," stated PM Modi. He further mentioned the names of two renowned outlets in Sydney known for their delectable Indian cuisine. "Vaise maine suna hai ki Harris Park mein Chatkazz ki 'Chaat' and Jaipur Sweets ki Jalebi - unka toh koi jawaab hee nahi hai (I have heard that Chatkazz's Chaat and Jalebi at Jaipur Sweets have no match)," said PM Modi amid resounding cheers from the audience.
He further expressed his desire for his Australian counterpart, Anthony Albanese, to experience the exquisite food there. "Meri aap sabse request hai, aap log kabhi mere mitr, PM Albanese ko bhi wahaan zaroor le jaiyega (I would like to request all of you to make sure my friend, PM Albanese, also visits that place)," he conveyed in the video.
