Lemon and parsley marinated prawns tossed with tomatoes, shallots and cream to make a tempting dish.

Ingredients of Crevettes Grillees A Lai

  • Prawns
  • Marination:
  • Lemon, to taste
  • Parsley, to taste
  • Garlic paste, to taste
  • 2 Tbsp refined oil
  • For main preparation:
  • 1 Tbsp refined oil
  • 2 tsp chopped shallots
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 2 Tbsp diced tomatoes
  • Marinated prawns
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 pinch of black pepper powder
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 4 tsp cream
  • Parsley to taste

How to Make Crevettes Grillees A Lai

  • 1.Marinate the prawns with lemon, parsley and garlic for 5 minutes and keep it aside.
  • 2.Then heat oil in pan and add the marinated prawns.
  • 3.Flash saute them till light brown and keep them aside.
  • For the main preparation:
  • 1.Heat oil in pan. Add chopped shallots, chopped garlic and saute them till translucent.
  • 2.Then add diced tomatoes, marinated prawns along with limejuice, salt and pepper.
  • 3.Now mix the egg yolk and the cream in a bowl and add it to the pan, on low flame.
  • 4.Cook for about 2 minutes and then sprinkle chopped parsley.
  • 5.Crevettes grillees a l'ai is ready to eat. Serve hot.
