We bring you a chicken stew recipe that can be churned out anytime of the day with chicken, potato, ginger, garlic, some spices and coconut milk. All you need to do is boil the chicken and potato, and add it to a spice mix, made with onion, garlic, ginger and rest of the ingredients. You may have it as is or pair with some bread or roti for a protein-rich, wholesome meal.

Here's The Written Recipe Of Protein-Packed Chicken Stew:

Ingredients:

Chicken- 5-6 pieces

Coconut milk- half cup

Potato- 1, cut into four halves

Onion- 1, chopped

Curry leaves- 5-6

Garlic paste- half teaspoon

Ginger paste- half teaspoon

Green chilli- 1, chopped

Cardamom- 1

Cinnamon stick- 1

Salt- as per taste

Vinegar- 2 teaspoon

Method:

Take the chicken pieces in a pressure cooker and add vinegar to it.

Add the potatoes, salt and water.

Close the lid of the pressure cooker and cook upto 2 whistles.

Heat some oil in a pan and add onion, garlic, ginger, green chillies and sauté.

Now, add cardamom, cinnamon and mix.

Add the boiled chicken in the kadhai and pour the coconut milk on it.

Mix everything together and close the lid. And cook till the chicken is tender.

Temper some curry leaves and add tadka to the stew.

Serve hot with a dollop of butter on it.
