  • 5 Tips To Clean The Cooking Oil After Frying

We are spoiled for choice when it comes to Indian cuisine. Every day, we prepare a variety of recipes. And the one ingredient that appears in all of the recipes is oil. But have you noticed the small particles left behind from the dishes you create every time you cook these recipes? These particles could be leftover batter or the skin of an ingredient that you may have fried. It is critical to remove these tiny particles before reusing the oil. Check out some tips with which you can clean your cooking oil.
  • Add Lemons

Heat the oil in a small saucepan. Then take sliced pieces of lemon and place them in the oil. The black particles will stick to the lemon. Take out the lemon pieces and use the oil again.
  • Mix Cornstarch

Heat the oil and cornstarch mixture over low heat, be careful and do not boil it. Stir it frequently with a heatproof spatula; the cornstarch combination should set in about 10 minutes. Then strain.
  • Store Properly

Oil is also split down by how it is stored. Keep the oil away from dampness, light, and heat to keep it in ideal cooking condition. Light and heat can damage the oil further.
  • Keep Away From Heat

Keep the oil away from the heat of the stove, where it will be subjected to secondary heat from other cooking. Instead, place it in the refrigerator and use it once it has solidified.
  • Strain Through Mesh

Allow the oil to cool completely before straining it through a cheesecloth, a fine-mesh sieve, a paper coffee filter, or even paper towels. The purpose is to get rid of any leftover fried pieces in the oil. These food particles can cause oil to burn when reused, so get rid of them as quickly as possible.
