Use Enough Water
While boiling your macaroni, make sure to use enough water. This would ensure that it gets enough space to move around and get cooked without clumping together.
Once you add macaroni to water, add a spoonful of salt to it. The salt won't just enhance the flavour of your macaroni but also prevent it from sticking together.
After draining the macaroni, rinse it under cold running water. This would remove the extra starch from it which could make your dish super sticky and mushy.
