Now Have Breakfast in Bed at IKEA!
Ikea has always been known for its quirky campaigns, but this time they've really raised the bar. They've opened a pop-up eatery in London that will remain open from 7AM to 3PM and serve customers breakfast in bed. And all of it for free!
Their menu includes a wide variety of Scandinavian specialties: Smoked salmon, toast, tea, juice and more. Their customers also get to choose from a selection of pillows, duvets and beds which adds on to their luxurious lazy breakfast experience.
"At IKEA we believe that the delight of having breakfast in bed shouldn't just be reserved for those special occasions and should be something that makes everyday wonderful." - Ikea.
This Swedish retailer was inspired to open such a cafe when its research revealed that 50 per cent of Britons have never enjoyed breakfast in bed. That's when they decided that opening a cafe with the idea of Breakfast in bed would be amazing.
Myriam Ruffo, Head of Bedrooms and Bathrooms at IKEA, said: "There's nothing better than being in your own bed, you can enjoy sleep, cuddles and lazy days, but the piece de resistance has to be breakfast in bed."
