The Maharashtra government has started selling Ayurvedic medicines and herbal products derived from its forest produce.
The Centre is committed to the promotion of ayurveda and other forms of traditional medicines and have formed policies for that purpose, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for AYUSH Shripad Yesso Naik said today.
Ayurveda practitioners from across the country assembled to sought standards for Ayurvedic medicines to popularise Ayurveda and create more awareness among people about its health benefits.
