Sanna (or sannas) has various recipes. While some use urad dal, coconut milk and coconut water for fermentation, others include tody in the recipe.

Siddhu has recently appeared on menus outside Himachal Pradesh, gaining recognition at food festivals in Delhi and Mumbai, and in pahadi restaurants across India.
