  2. Add coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric and salt. Mix well.  Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Add the boiled, peeled and mashed potato. Mix thoroughly and switch off the heat.
  4. Finish with chopped coriander and allow the mixture to cool. Shape the cooled mixture into small, bite-sized balls.

For The Batter And Cooking

  1. In a bowl, mix dosa or idli batter with salt and water to adjust the consistency.
  2. Add fruit salt and mix gently. Heat an appe pan and grease it lightly with ghee or butter. 
  3. Add spoonfuls of batter into each cavity, place a potato ball in the centre, and cover with more batter. Cover and cook until the base is set.
  4. Lightly grease, flip gently, and cook the other side until golden.
