Ahead of the Karnataka Assembly elections on Wednesday, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi shared a meal with food delivery and gig workers. On Sunday, he visited the popular Airlines Hotel in Bengaluru to enjoy masala dosa and filter coffee with these workers and heard out their issues and troubles. Later, he even hopped onto the pillion seat with a delivery worker and rode up to two kilometres. In the video, we could see Rahul Gandhi engaging in a discussion with delivery partners from Dunzo, BlinkIt, Swiggy and Zomato. They shared their concerns over masala dosa and filter coffee and the 52-year-old politician heard them out. According to the Congress, there are over two lakh gig workers in Bengaluru alone and the party has made specific promises for them in their manifesto for the upcoming Karnataka Assembly polls.
