250 gm shelled and cooked prawns 2 tbsp chopped pimento 2 tsp tomato puree Juice and rind 1 orange 2 tbsp chopped onions 2 tsp worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp lemon pepper and salt to taste 125 ml mayonnaise 1 tsp garlic paste 1 tbsp cream Pinch paprika 1 shredded lettuce
How to Make Prawn Cocktail
1.Soak onions in lemon juice for 30 minutes. Pour orange juice and rind over prawns. Set aside 30 minutes. Beat mayonnaise and add pimentos, worcestershire sauce, garlic, cream, tomato puree and marinated onions. Arrange prawns on bed of shredded lettuce. Top with mayonnaise and dust with paprika before serving with brown bread.
