Ingredients of Sooji Pakoda

  • 1/2 Sooji
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 tbsp Coriander Leaves
  • 2 tbsp Curd
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • Salt as per taste

How to Make Sooji Pakoda

Take a large bowl and add sooji, curd, water and mix well until it forms a thick and consistent batter.

Now add sliced onion, chopped coriander leaves along with chopped ginger, cumin seeds, baking soda, salt, red chilli powder and chopped green chillies. Mix well again.

Heat oil in pan and drop in small portions from the batter into the pan for deep frying.

Fry till golden brown.

Serve with mint chutney and steaming cup of tea. Enjoy the perfect monsoon snack.
