Burgers are the go-to comfort food for children and adults alike. After all, what's better than digging into a soft and crumbly bun which has a thick crispy patty tucked in? Not to forget the saucy mix of mayonnaise, chipotle, and mustard along with lettuce, cucumber, roasted tomatoes and a handful of olives. A memorable meal, indeed. But, what if we make the bun crispier? Yes, following the footsteps of kurkure momos and chicken wings, we present kurkure burgers. Courtesy: Masterchef Pankaj Bhadouria. In one of her Instagram Reels, Pankaj Bhadouria shared the recipe for kurkure burgers. “Your favourite burgers just got crispier and kurkure! Watch how,” she captioned the post.

- Red sauce: 2 cups
- Vinegar: 1tsp

Step 1: Add boiled mashed potatoes, soy granules, green chillies, soy sauce, black pepper powder, salt, Kashmiri red chilli powder, tomato ketchup, mustard sauce, white vinegar, and corn flour in a bowl. Mix well.
Step 2: Make patties, and roll them in bread crumbs. Fry in medium hot oil. The burger patties are ready.
Step 3: To prepare the burger sauce - add red tomato sauce, and vinegar to the mayonnaise. For the spicy flavour, add any red sauce to the mix.
Step 4: Toast the buns on a pan, apply the sauce mix on the base, and place a patty (or even two). Top it with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and probably a slice of cheese. Close it with the other half of the bun.
Step 5: Next step is to prepare the slurry using all-purpose flour, water, corn flour, and red chilli powder. Give it a nice stir. Dip the burgers in this slurry, cover them with crushed corn flakes and deep fry in hot oil.
