Bhagyashree's foodie escapades never fail to initiate a conversation on the Internet. Be it her “Tuesday Tips” or drool-worthy gastronomical adventure, the actress' foodie endeavours have a separate fan base. Now, Bhagyashree is back with yet another episode of her yummilicious diary. So, what's on the menu? Authentic Oriya dishes. Bhagyashree has shared a picture of the grand feast on Instagram Stories. The pic shows a big bowl of “pakhala bhaat (fermented rice)” kept in the centre. It is surrounded by small bowls carrying, what seems like bhaja, badi chura, and pumpkin fritters. She wrote, “The authentic pakhala bhaat! A typical Oriya dish made from fermented rice.”

We have pulled together a few Odia dishes that you must try at your home:
1. Badi Chura
For those who don't know, badi in Oriya stands for wadi, which is basically sundried lentil dumplings. And, chura means crushed. The dish is basically a coarsely crushed mixture of wadi, onion, salt, mustard oil etc. Take a look at the recipe here.
2. Lau Dalma
In just 30 minutes, you can prepare this mouth-watering Oriya dal. The must-have ingredients are lauki, moong dal, sugar, and salt with mild spices. Here is your recipe.
3. Dahi Kanji
While this dish resembles Kadhi from North India's Kadhi, its flavours are very different. Just as the name suggests, Dahi Kanji is made by using curd and is perfect for any kind of occasion. Check out the recipe here.
4. Dahi Baingan
Prepared with curd and baigan, the dish is simply a bomb of flavours. All its credit goes to the strong aroma of mustard oil and panch phoron (or as they call it panchaw phutana). Take a look at the recipe here.
5. Ghanta Tarkari
This dish is basically a delicious mixed veg curry, which is a powerhouse of nutrition. Common choices to prepare this dish include potatoes, pumpkin, tomatoes, brinjal, different types of gourds and beans, etc. Click here for the recipe.
