There is something about South Indian cuisine that soothes the soul. Be it the crispiness of dosa, flavourful sambhar, soft idlis or delectable rava kesari, South Indian cuisine is honestly a treat to the senses. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, these dishes never fail to make our tummy do the happy dance. One such versatile dish in the cuisine is idli sambhar, which can be honestly relished at any time of the day. But presently our humble idlis are making headlines. Courtesy: An idli vendor. A food vlogger, from Maharashtra, has dropped a clip of a vendor selling idlis on the road in an interesting manner.
The video opens to show a bustling street stall. The vendor is seen holding the idli mould plate and pouring batter into it. Wondering what's so unique about that? The vendor did it at lightning speed. Oh, and, without dropping it.
Needless to say that his flash speed made a lot of heads turn on the Internet. While many lauded his skill, several eagle-eyed users were quick to take out the hygiene element in the clip. A few complained about the vendor not wearing any gloves, as he is only using his hands.
A comment read, “Just a single glove and it will be better.”
Another user wrote, “Skills achhi hai bas gloves bhi pahen lete to acha hota. [Skills are good, it would have been better if we had worn gloves].”
Some wondered, “How are you making balls with your hands?”
Apart from this, the comments section of the clip was flooded with compliments like, “Superb”, "Oh My God,” and “Cool” among others.
So far the video has been played more than a million times. What do you think of this street vendor's skills?
