The festive season is in full swing in India and we have a number of festivals lined up such as Rakhi, Janmashtami and more. In Nashik, a sweet shop decided to do things differently and created gold-plated sweets for customers. These shiny indulgences have hit the shelves for Rs 6,000 per kg ahead of the Raksha Bandhan festival, as per ANI.
This is not the only gold-plated dessert that we have seen in the recent past. Previously, a gold-plated ghevar had also surfaced on Twitter. Braj Rasayan Mitthan Bhandar in Agra has prepared the monsoon special sweet in an all-new avatar - with gold varq lined on top. The delicious Rajasthani sweet is priced at a humongous cost of Rs. 25,000 per kg!
