Ingredients of Atte Ka Gulgulla

  • 1 Cups water
  • 1/2 cups jaggery
  • 1½ cups wheat flour (Atta)
  • ½ tsp fennel (Saunf)
  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • oil (for frying)

How to Make Atte Ka Gulgulla

Take a bowl and add jaggery with half cup water. Now mix the both and whisk it well.

Add wheat flour, cardamom powder, fennel seeds, and baking soda in it.

Mix well and ensure there are no lumps.

Now add the remaining half cup of water to it.

Mix the batter well and keep it aside for half an hour.

Take a wok (kadhai) and add enough oil to fry the gulgullas.
7.
Once hot, scoop into the batter with a spoon or you can also use your hand, and then put it in the oil one by one.

Fry of medium flame till it turns golden brown.
9.
That’s it. Your rainy-day snack-gulgulla is ready. You can store these in airtight container to enjoy later.
