About Mint and Turmeric Chutney (Village Style) Recipe: A mixture of various hand churned spices and herbs like mint, turmeric, dhaniya, plum jam, etc. Having a homemade chutney instead of the processed bottled chutney is satiating in its own way!
Ingredients of Mint and Turmeric Chutney (Village Style)
1 Bunch mint
2 tbsp turmeric
3 tbsp sabut dhania
4 Green chillies
1 tbsp zeera
1 tbsp garlic
4 tbsp onion, chopped
1 tbsp black salt
2 tbsp plum jam
How to Make Mint and Turmeric Chutney (Village Style)
1.Take turmeric and zeera together on a barren base.
2.Churn it together with a wet stone to get it in a paste form.
3.Keep watering the stone to keep it wet so the powder gets in a sticky form.
4.One by one take all ingredients to churn along to form a mix.
5.Churn mint leaves and plum jam in the end and keep rubbing the stone on them to form a thick mixture with all the ingredients thoroughly mixed together.
Use the water in a balanced way so the chutney doesn't come out to be watery.
Do not grind all the ingredients together.
