Food processing ministry

The food processing industry should make maximum use of solar energy for manufacturing purpose as it is more environment friendly, Minister of State for Food Processing Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti said today.

A parliamentary panel has directed the government to frame a national policy on food processing at the earliest and recommended the committee should be briefed about the progress made in that direction.
