Former India cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni's wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni seems to be a fan of south Indian food. On Wednesday, she gave us a sneak peek of her dinner plate - no prizes for guessing; it was a south Indian delicacy that is among her favourite dishes to eat. And no, it wasn't dosa, idli or uttapam. Sakshi shared an image of a plate of kuttu paratha mashed with the goodness of some colourful veggies and curry leaves on her Instagram Stories. Sounds mouth-watering, doesn't it? She captioned the photo, "My fav kuttu paratha!." Take a look:
The kuttu paratha that Sakshi Singh Dhoni can be seen relishing is a Sri Lankan dish consisting of small pieces of roti that are usually tossed in onions, scrambled eggs, or meats with lots of spices to bring out the flavour. This dish is also a common item that is found in South India and is known as Kothu Parotta in the region.
As Sakshi Singh Dhoni often shares glimpses from her life on Instagram stories, we have come to learn that she has a foodie side too! In an earlier post last month, Sakshi and her daughter Ziva were also seen devouring a traditional Onam Sadhya feast. The thali had 22 food items served on a plantain leaf. Apart from this, Sakshi had also earlier posted about her love for bal mithai and in the post wrote "favourite mithai."
Sakshi is unstoppable when it comes to having delicious food, and her food posts are proof of just that! What do you think would be Sakshi's next indulgence?! Let us know in the comments below.
