Bhumi Pednekar is a self-claimed foodie. The actress is quite vocal about her cheat meals and indulgences. During the lockdown period, to do her bit for the planet, Bhumi turned vegetarian. And according to us, her culinary shenanigans remain delectable. Bhumi is a sucker for desi thalis, we aren't saying it. Her Instagram uploads are testimony to the statement. Thali is a complete meal served on a large single plate. Characterised by eye-popping variety, a thali easily contains 10 to 15 dishes. This time around, Bhumi gorged on a Rajasthani thali and even claimed to finish it off. We can spot a number of curries and vegetables, along with some sweet delicacies. It made us slurp. A bowl of dal tadka took the centre stage, along with a slice of paratha and roti. For the sides, there were bowls of Rajasthani kadhi, raita, gatte ki sabji, aalo-beans ki sabji, hummus, among others. It doesn't end here. A piece of dhokla, quite a variety of pickles, and a side of salad were part of the wholesome meal. And, did she also have three types of ghewar or is it something else?

While we were all in to believe that Bhumi Pednekar finished off the thali, filmmaker Aanand L Rai's comment caught our attention. “Last thali teri nahi hai… mujhe pata hai,” he wrote.

Didn't we say Bhumi Pednekar has a thing for delicious thalis? Earlier, she left us drooling with her “Great Indian Thali” and also shared the benefits of using a steel thali for meals. Talking about the food first, we couple see white jeera rice and a dry spicy curry beside it. One section of the thali had dal makhani with some cream, and next to it was boondi raita with a coriander garnish. Now moving to the benefits of the steel plate, Bhumi Pednekar wrote, “Sustainable, reusable, helps with portion control and hassle-free. The great Indian thali." Read all about it here.
