The Bir Khalsa group from India set the Guinness World Record for the most number of coconuts smashed with a baseball bat in under a minute. The stunt involved placing coconuts on a person's head and breaking them in one go. Would you believe that as many as 85 coconuts were smashed? The event took place on the set of Lo Show Dei Record in Milan, Italy, on February 6 last year. A video of the seemingly impossible feat was shared by Guinness World Records on Instagram. The caption read, "Most coconuts on heads smashed with a baseball bat in one minute: 85 by Bir Khalsa."
Marking their presence in the comments section, GWR added, "A smashing record! One of the requirements of food-related records is that all food must be consumed-in most cases by humans, and in cases where items have been crushed, they are fed to livestock (farm animals)." Take a look:

People were quick to react to the viral video. "Imagine one miss and you are cooked," pointed out a user. "How do we explain this to future generations?" asked another. A remark read, "Definitely going to be eating through a straw for the rest of his life." "This feels illegal," noted an individual. Another person asked, "What kind of a record is this, Guinness?" Here's what another user had to say: "Paracetamol and other painkillers smiling at him."
In a separate incident, Muhamed Kahrimanovic from Germany lifted the Guinness World Record trophy for smashing 148 coconuts with one hand in under a minute. This record was also broken on Lo Show Dei Record on February 21, 2022.
