Shruti Haasan is a woman with many talents. Cooking happens to be one of them and she is blessed with some impressive culinary skills. Not someone to look into crash diets, Shruti takes her meal plans seriously. She believes in eating healthy and balances the right amount of carbs, proteins and nutrients. Like always, she has treated fans with a new recipe during the lockdown. For all those missing out on sweet treats in the festive season, Shruti has the right recipe for you. What did she make? A vanilla cake, with some heavenly toppings. Shruti has been kind enough to show her recipe in a quick video she shared on Instagram.
So what all went in the base for her cake - gluten-free vanilla cake mix, extra virgin olive oil and two eggs, plant-based walnut drink. Take a bowl and get all the ingredients and give it a mix with a beater. Grease the tin with a no-stick cooking spray and pour the batter. Let it sit in the oven until baked. Take it out and allow it to cool. Top it with a generous spread of fruit jam. The next step is icing, so get the cream cheese, whipped cream, icing sugar, bourbon vanilla extract. Whip it all and fill it in your icing piping bag and cover the cake entirely in rose-like designs. Finally, some fresh berries on top and voila.
