McDonald's and Dairy Queen US
A McDonald's outlet in the Missouri state of the US started a sign war with fast-food restaurant Dairy Queen. On a billboard, McDonald's wrote, “Hey DQ! Wanna have a sign war”. Soon, the Dairy Queen outlet responded with its billboard and said, “We would, but we are too busy making ice cream”. This did not end here as McDonald's again changed its sign on the billboard and quipped, “That is cute. Our ice cream makes itself”.
