Indian flavour is a global rage now; all thanks to the exotic Indian spices and foods that made global presence recently. The buzz around Indian cuisine is such that even the restaurants in western countries are adding many Indian dishes to their menu. On the same note, inspired by Indian taste palate, fast food chain McDonald's has introduced 'Dosa Masala' burger to its menu across restaurants in north and east of India. Interesting, isn't it?
Priced at INR 59/- (plus applicable taxes), the new burger is a part of all-day menu and will be available across all restaurants in north and east of India. With an irresistibly, fiery grilled vegetable patty flavoured with a mix of Indian spices, the all new dosa masala burger seems to be just the perfect one for their large customer base. And if that's not enough, the juicy patty is topped with a tangy rasam sauce to give a burst of authentic regional flavours. It comes packed between whole wheat buns topped with black and white sesame seeds
"We are excited to bring Dosa Masala burger to our customers in north and east of India. We have a proud legacy of bringing authentic local flavors to our customers. McAloo Tikki is one such menu item that is very popular among our consumers here. With Dosa Masala, we are providing more options in the vegetarian menu, staying close to the Indian taste palate. At McDonald's, we remain committed to develop products as per the tastes and preferences of our customers," says, Ajita Saxena, Director - Marketing, McDonald's, North and East India.
Before this, McDonald's recently also launched its popular breakfast menu in north and east of India that received a positive feedback from the customers. The menu offers a variety of breakfast options, including Veg McMuffin, Egg & Cheese McMuffin, Sausage McMuffins, Hot cakes, Hash brown along with coffee and other cold and hot beverages. As a limited time offer, McDonald's is offering the choice of a complimentary beverage with Veg McMuffin or Egg & Cheese McMuffin*. Additionally, dine-in customers can enjoy unlimited coffee refills during breakfast hours.
With interesting mix of flavours that the restaurant is reinventing with, it would be interesting to watch how it unfolds with the customer. Meanwhile, we can't wait to nosh on the new Indian dosa masala burger!
