It begins with large blocks of butter being added to a massive pan. One of the bakers starts mixing the butter with his bare hands – without wearing gloves.

Next, a generous amount of sugar is poured into the mix, followed by dozens of eggs. After thorough blending, raisins and peanuts are added to complete the preparation. Next, chocolate syrup and cocoa powder are added to the mix, followed by an assortment of dry fruits, including cashews, red berries and blueberries. The mixing continues until a thick, uniform consistency is achieved. In the final step, the baker tops the entire pan with flour. Using his bare, ungloved hands again, he scoops out the gooey mixture and transfers it into small containers. These containers are then arranged on a tray and placed inside an oven. And just like that, the fruit cake is ready.
