Food delivery platforms such as Zomato, Swiggy, Blinkit, Zepto and Milk Basket are usually seen as rivals, competing for customer attention and market share. However, a recent viral Instagram reel has brought these brands together in an unexpected and cheerful crossover, much to the delight of social media users.
Delivery riders from the five platforms teamed up to shoot a playful video inspired by the popular Power Rangers franchise. In the reel, each rider represents a different colour and strength, echoing the iconic superhero squad as they come together as one powerful team.
Despite operating in a fiercely competitive space, the light-hearted video highlights how these delivery services collectively power India's rapidly growing online food and grocery delivery ecosystem.
Riders Steal The Spotlight As 'Real-Life Superheroes'
The video struck a chord with viewers, many of whom praised the riders as real-life superheroes who brave extreme weather conditions to ensure timely deliveries. Several social media users described them as the true "Power Rangers" of modern urban life, delivering everything from hot meals to daily essentials within minutes.
The reel has garnered an impressive 3.4 million views on Instagram, quickly becoming a talking point among foodies and quick-commerce users alike.

Brand Banter Adds To The Fun
Adding to the buzz, the brands themselves joined the conversation in the comments section. Blinkit wrote, "Rangers assemble," while Milk Basket chimed in with, "Saare Rangers ek sath aa gaye!" (All Rangers have come together). Swiggy also joined the fun, calling the riders "Asli (real) power rangers."
Social media users jumped in with their own interpretations and praise.
One comment read, "Jokes apart, you guys are the real Power Rangers, always delivering no matter extreme rain or hot weather in summer. Respect."
Another user likened the riders' coloured uniforms to IPL teams, writing, "RCB, MI, SRH, KKR, CSK."
Others leaned into pop culture nostalgia. "Power Rangers! SPD Emergency," wrote one user, recalling the show's famous theme song, while another called it "Food delivery multiverse edition."
Not The First Foodie 'Multiverse' Moment
This isn't the first time Indian food delivery riders have been likened to superheroes on social media. In July last year, a viral photo of delivery agents riding through heavy rain in Bengaluru sparked a flurry of memes online. Many compared the riders to Marvel's Avengers, while others dubbed the moment the "QC (Quick Commerce) Universe" or "Delivery Cinematic Universe."
Several users also drew parallels with the Power Rangers, particularly because of the brightly coloured raincoats worn by riders from different platforms.
