About 2 Bean & Chicken Soup Recipe: The soup is a healthy blend of nutrition and protein, something that all age groups will enjoy. The beans and tomato combination adds to a very tex mex flavour that makes the soup delicious and healthy at the same time. A must have during the monsoon season.

Ingredients of 2 Bean & Chicken Soup

  • 100 gms red beans
  • 50 gms bean sprout
  • 100 gms tomato
  • 100 gms chicken
  • 25 gms onion
  • 10 gms garlic
  • 20 gms celery
  • Chicken stock (optional)
  • 3 gram salt
  • 2 gram pepper
  • 10 gms sugar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

How to Make 2 Bean & Chicken Soup

  • 1.Boil the red kidney beans, save the water.
  • 2.Roast the tomatoes on open fire or in the oven. Puree it.
  • 3.Cut the chicken into even dices and set aside.
  • 4.Saute the chicken in olive oil add chopped onion, celery, garlic and the tomato puree.
  • 5.Saute well, add the red bean left over water, chicken stock(optional). Season with salt & pepper.
  • 6.Make a small salad of red beans, bean sprout, salt, pepper and olive oil.
  • 7.Pour the soup in a bowl, place the 2 bean salad and drizzle some olive oil.
  • 8.Serve piping hot.
