Ingredients of Aubergine and Sesame Meat

  • 150 gm minced meat 1 tbsp green spring onion paste 1 tbsp soya sauce 1 tbsp rum 1 tsp sesame oil salt to taste 4 small aubergines 1 tbsp sesame seeds 1 tbsp seasoned flour Dipping sauce 5 tbsp water 2 tbsp sugar 1/2 tsp salt 1 tbsp vinegar 1/2 cucumber - peeled and thinly sliced 1 onion - peeled and sliced

How to Make Aubergine and Sesame Meat

To make the sauce, simmer water, sugar, salt and vinegar. Cook for 1 minute. Add cucumber and onions. Serve with the aubergines. Blend the meat in a food processor with spring onions, soya sauce, rum, oil and salt. Slit the aubergines into four without severing the top. Spoon mince into the slits. Coat the ends with sesame seeds and dust with flour. Deep fry for 3-4 minutes and serve with dipping sauce.
