Ingredients of Black Chana Hummus with Vegetable Crudits

  • For Hummus:
  • 50 gram Black chana (parboiled)
  • 5 gram Tahina paste
  • 15 mililitres Olive oil
  • 2 gram Garlic
  • 3 mililitres Lemon juice
  • 2 Ice cubes (crushed)
  • to taste Salt
  • For Crudités:
  • 40 gram Carrots
  • 40 gram Cucumber
  • 40 gram Beetroot
  • 20 gram Celery

How to Make Black Chana Hummus with Vegetable Crudits

Soak black chana for 3-4 hours before parboiling. Allow it to cool.

In a blender, take parboiled black chana, Tahina paste, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, crushed ice and salt.

Blend into a smooth paste and keep aside.

Cut all vegetables into long batons or sticks.
5.
Serve with the dip.
