Chana Dal chikki is just another version of the classic peanut chikki but much flavourful and rich. The use of roasted Bengal grams adds an earthy flavor to the chikki along with the nutty taste that we all love.

Ingredients of Chana Dal Chikki

  • 1 Cup Split Chana Dal
  • 1 cup Jaggery
  • 2 tbsp Ghee

How to Make Chana Dal Chikki

In a kadhai, dry roast chana dal until it smells done and starts changing color to slightly golden.

In another pan heat ghee and add jaggery to it, mix until properly melted.
3.
Add the roasted chana dal to the jaggery and mix until every piece has been coated with jaggery. Take off the heat and quickly transfer to a well-greased flat surface.
4.
Let this set for 2-4 hours and enjoy.
