An unusual Indian dessert made with cholia (hara chana), cream, milk and khoya.

Ingredients of Cholia Halwa
- 150 Gram Pure ghee
- 1/2 kg Chholia (coarsely ground)
- 300 gram Sugar
- 1/2 litre Milk
- 1/2 tsp Ground cardamom seeds
- To finish:
- 2 tbsp Nuts and dried fruit
- 2 tbsp Cream
- 1 tbsp Crumbled khoya
How to Make Cholia HalwaHideShow Media
Heat ghee in a pan and add cholia paste.
Stir over a gentle flame until mixture reduces and ghee separates.
Add sugar, milk and cardamom to the pan.
Simmer till liquid evaporates.
Serve decorated with dried fruit, cream and khoya.
