Ingredients of Crispy Fried Corn Kernels

  • 350 gm baby corn kernels-peeled
  • 1 egg-slightly beaten
  • 1 cup cornstarch / cornflour
  • 1 Tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 Tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Oil for deep-frying

How to Make Crispy Fried Corn Kernels

  • 1.Mix together the corn, egg, cornflour, garlic and ginger paste, 1 tsp salt and enough water so that they are 'coated' with the batter.
  • 2.Heat the oil and deep-fry kernels over high heat till a very light brown.
  • 3.Drain on absorbent paper till required.
  • 4.Before serving, heat oil again and deep fry to a golden brown and serve.
