Ingredients of Sindhi Dal Toast

  • 1 cup Moong dal
  • 1 tsp Tumeric powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 slices Bread
  • 2 small Boiled potatoes
  • 2 tsp Coriander Leaves
  • 2 tbsp Chopped onion
  • 1 tsp Pomegranate
  • 1/2 tsp Chaat masala
  • 1/4 tsp Black salt
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Tamarind chutney
  • 1 tsp Mint chutney
  • 1 Sev/Bhujjia

How to Make Sindhi Dal Toast

Soak moong dal for half an hour. After soaking, pressure cook the dal along with salt and turmeric on low to medium flame.

Meanwhile, mash boiled potatoes and add salt, red chilli powder, chaat masala and mix well.

Once done, fill this potato mash in between two bread slices and toast or grill the sandwich until crispy.

Now, take out the dal into the bowl and temper it with spicy ghee tadka.

Pour dal over the crispy sandwich along with tamarind chutney, mint chutney and sprinkle some bhujjia, coriander leaves, chopped onions and pomegranate kernels.
6.
Serve immediately!
