After a long hiatus, Indian diners are back at restaurants with a vengeance. People are now curious to experiment with their food and prefer offbeat options over the tried and tested ones. This is exactly what Farzi cafe aims to do with the launch of their new winter menu. One of Delhi's favourites, the restaurant is under the aegis of Zorawar Kalra's Massive Restaurants. Chef Dipesh Shinde has curated a brand new menu for Farzi cafe diners across Delhi-NCR.
An electrifying ambience, glamorous interiors and some vibrant music catches our attention at the very first glance of Farzi cafe. Farzi cafe's new menu has attempted to incorporate regional Indian flavours with its trademark funky and creative presentations. We started off our meal with the Sweet Potato chaat with chutney foam and crispy wafer on top. The layered delight was exceptionally delicious. The Tangra Soya Chaap was next on our menu - a fusion delight bringing a spicy Tangra-style flavour to the usual soya chaap. The Jaitooni Paneer Tikka and creamy Tandoori Broccoli were prepared with meticulous detail and left us drooling. Each appetiser was highly recommended and thoroughly enjoyable!

For the main course, there were a number of exotic delights to choose from. We sampled the lotus root Kofta paired with a Kashmiri Chilli Korma and Lachcha Paratha. There was also a Mushroom Gassi, which is a Mangalorean-style gravy, paired with Ajwaini Lachcha Parantha. Both the preparations has a spicy and tangy tinge. We particularly enjoyed the Kashmiri lotus stem koftas and the crisp, ghee-laden paranthas. We also sampled a chef-special Pav Bhaji with thyme butter - and the miniature Pav buns got us drooling.
At Farzi cafe, you just can't go wrong with drinks. The signature mocktails - Farzi OK and Litchi Panna Desire were delicious and refreshing, and complemented our meal perfectly. The Coffee House cocktail too is a must-try for caffeine addicts. In desserts, we sampled the Jaggery and Coconut Brulee along with the yummy Rose Panna Cotta. A perfect end to our meal!
So, head to Farzi cafe for your next winter outing. Do give the appetisers and drinks a shot, and trust us, you'll be left wanting more!
