How To Make Allahbadi Tehri | Allahbadi Tehri Recipe:
Allahbadi Tehri is very easy to cook and makes for a super healthy dish. It also includes a bowl full of vegetables that helps level up the nutrient game for kids. So, without further ado, let us get start with the recipe of this yummy dish.
First, in a heavy-bottomed pan, heat mustard oil to fry potatoes till golden brown. Now, take oil in a pressure cooker and add bay leaves, cinnamon stick, black peppercorns, cloves, along with black and green cardamoms. Saute for two-three minutes on a low flame and then add chopped onion to it and cook for a while. Next, add ginger, garlic and green chillies with spices such as cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and red chilli powder, followed by hing water and salt. Mix well for five minutes.
Now throw in vegetables like carrot, cauliflower, beans, peas and fried potatoes. To This, add curd, coriander leaves and rice. Stir lightly to mix the rice with all the ingredients thoroughly. Pour in some water and cook till the rice are done.
Garnish it with coriander leaves and enjoy. Serve this yummy dish with dahi or a salad to relish.
