“French toast crusted this week with one of my favourite cereals (Cinnamon Toast Crunch), right off the griddle with warm cinnamon glaze,” said The Rock. “Don't cheat yourself, treat yourself and enjoy and devour your cheat-meals, my friends - we've earned them,” he added. The post showed him enjoying his “cheat meal”.
While we are sure the toast must have been incredibly tasty, it has to be healthy as well. Cinnamon, with its woody scent, was one of the first spices used in the ancient world. Because of its flavour and aroma, it can enrich any food. Backed by Ayurveda, this humble spice can settle your stomach problems, boost metabolism. It also helps keep memory.
Benefits:
Cinnamon helps beat cough and cold, can be used as a homemade acne treatment, strengthen hair and beauty. It's proved beneficial for diabetics. Eating just 1 gram of cinnamon daily can control blood sugar levels.
Previously, Dwayne Johnson had shared on Instagram that he “was going big with the famous or infamous Rock Toast”. A video accompanying the post showed him relishing the creamy toast. He had said, “Get ready for Rock toast – the world's greatest French toast you have ever had.”
According to the Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle actor, the toast was topped up with: homemade coconut, peanut butter maple syrup, vanilla whipped cream and teremana infused toasted coconut chips.
