Sliced onion rings are dipped in a batter, deep-fried until crispy and tossed in a special spice blend. These masala onion rings are served with a tangy, spicy and sweet sauce. First, peel the onions and slice them into 1-inch-thickrings. Once sliced, remove the centre segments and keep only the outer ones. Separate the layers to have the rings prepped. To make the batter, take besan in a bowl and add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric, cumin powder, kasoori methi, chopped coriander and chaat masala.
