Chicken delights like butter chicken, tandoori chicken and chicken-do-pyaza are now done to death in most north Indian restaurants. While you can always prepare chicken recipes in the comforts of your kitchen, how about adding a touch of lemon and pepper to those chicken cuts of your choice? The combination of tangy lemon with pungent flavour of pepper makes this dish very flavourful. Our today's recipe of lemon pepper chicken has been shared by Sahil Makhija, a popular YouTube chef and food vlogger who specialises in keto cooking, on his channel 'Headbanger's Kitchen'.
In this unique recipe, Sahil has used a store-bought lemon-pepper seasoning. However, if you're unable to find the same at the stores in your vicinity, you can always go for a mix of garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. A combination of these four ingredients would taste just as good. To get started, just season the chicken cuts of your choice using the spice-mix and pan-fry them in olive oil to get a slight caramelised texture. Once this is done, add a generous serving of grated cheese along with fresh cream and you will have a delectable chicken recipe ready, which is sure to be gobbled up in one go!
A garnishing of chopped chives or spring onions along with a sprinkling of parsley is sure to complement the cheesy and tangy flavour of this dish.
