Here're 5 Food Challenges That Went Viral In 2021:
1. 'Squid Game' Challenge:
The internet is no stranger to the popular South Korean series 'Squid Game'. This show is based on a contest, where competitors battle it out in a series of childhood games to win a bumper cash prize; while the losers are eliminated by being killed. Based on this popular series, a Beijing bakery introduced a new challenge for customers to make 'dalgona candy' (from 'Squid Game'). The food contest costed 58 Yuan or 9 US Dollars. Here, the idea was to make the candy from scratch in under 10 minutes. Hundreds of people participated in the challenge, making it a hit both online and offline. Click here to know more.
2. Oops I Did It Again:
Based on a trend on Instagram Reels, several Bollywood and TV divas participated in 'Oops I Did It Again' challenge, where they spilled their food secrets to the world. Our favourite in the lot was the challenge taken up by actor Tamannaah. Her challenge was to not leave her bed and enjoy mango with all her heart.
