You may take Preity Zinta out of India, but you can't take India out of her heart. Agreed? Well, the actress made us believe it. Even in Los Angeles, Preity Zinta's taste buds yearn for Indian cuisine, particularly “Konkan fish curry”. But courtesy to her “home away from home”—restaurant Bollywood Bites and its chef and her friend Sanjay Patel, her desire were fulfilled. How do we know? Preity Zinta dropped a video on Instagram, showing the chef preparing the delectable meal for her. She revealed that despite the dish not being on the menu, her friend opened the restaurant just for her and took her “taste buds for a trip.” The clip opens with Preity showing a glimpse of the restaurant. Next, she takes her Instagram family inside the kitchen, where her lip-smacking Konkan fish curry is being prepared.
We could see rich orange-coloured gravy on the stove with spices like a few red chillies, some green chillies and black mustard seeds in it. Then the chef was seen adding fish to the gravy. Preity Zinta enjoyed the Konkan fish curry with plain white rice. Preity penned down a lengthy note in the caption, thanking the chef. The caption read, “Yesterday I was craving Konkan Fish Curry like crazy so I called my friend Sanjay Patel at Bollywood Bites to make it for me. Even though it was not on the menu, he opened the restaurant for me and took my taste buds for a trip to India. It was Yummy. Here is a sneak peek & my way of saying thank you to the best chef in town. Thank god for Bollywood Bites. It always is my home away from home.”

Earlier this month, Preity Zinta was seen catching up with Nargis Fakhri. Well, their meet-up was all about scenic views and good food. She dropped a video and we couldn't help but drool over the dishes the actresses relished. We saw salmon fish roll with soy sauce, which was garnished with coriander leaves, and avocado and spinach salad with jalapeno and some seeds.
Preity Zinta shared the video with the caption, “So awesome to catch up with the gorgeous Nargis Fakhri this weekend. Love your energy & your vibe babe. Keep smiling, shining and stay in touch. Muaah.”
