Food fusion has become all things rage on the internet and we find people experimenting with various dishes from across the world. But recently, the internet was left stunned when someone dared to amalgamate the ultimate comfort food dal chawal, with sushi. The video instantly went viral on social media, leaving people surprised to the core. Now, taking the whole incident a step ahead, stand-up comedian Gaurav Kapoor has now come up with his verdict on this “Jap-Indo dish". He recently dropped a hilarious video, wherein he raised an important question for all - “Is this the end of actual Sushi?” Let's find out more.
Gaurav Kapoor began his video claiming that going beyond his imagination, "dal chawal sushi has arrived in the market" and the World Health Organization must take this into consideration, "on an immediate basis”. He added that if this bizarre trend of food experiments is not stopped right here, we are not far away from watching malai sushi, sushi lababdar, and sushi do-pyaaza come to life. “They don't know our gravy is the same. Today we are putting paneer and chicken in it. Tomorrow we can add sushi,” he states in the video. It doesn't end here. He went on ranting that two years from now, people will order “laccha paratha with kadhai sushi,” and on the side, instead of “sirka pyaz”, we will have “soya sauce pyaz.” He also thinks that people might come up with a combination of pudina and wasabi, and as per his imagination, it might be named “pusabi”.

Gaurav didn't stop there. In the video, he added that while people are thinking this is a cultural exchange between two cuisines, in reality, it is the practical attempt of “sandhi vichhed”.
