Kartik Aaryan has a “sweet tooth weakness''. How do we know, you ask? Kartik has himself confessed it on social media. The actor, who recently wrapped up a month-long hectic schedule for Satyaprem Ki Katha, indulged in a plateful of a yummy dessert. Wondering what it may be? It is a spongy chocolate lava cake topped with vanilla ice cream. The writer of Satyaprem Ki Katha, Karan Sharma, shared a photograph of Kartik Aaryan digging into the sweetmeat. “Sattu gets to have this cake and eat it too,” Karan captioned the post. Re-sharing the post on his Instagram Stories, Kartik admitted that he has a “sweet tooth weakness.”

Chocolate Lava Cake
Ingredients:
- Dark chocolate - 135 grams
- Butter - 95 grams
- Icing sugar- 100 grams
- Egg yolks + whole eggs - 2 each
- Flour - 35 grams
Method:
Step 1: First, preheat the oven - 200 degrees.
Step 2. Melt chocolate and butter in a bowl in the microwave. (You can melt using the double boiler method too.)
Step 3. Take another bowl and whisk together sugar and eggs.
Step 4. Now, mix the chocolate-butter mixture with the sugar and eggs.
Step 5. Fold in the flour.
Step 6. Carefully strain the mixture to remove any lumps.
Step 7. Keep the mixture in the fridge for 5-7 minutes.
Step 8. Now, pour the batter into greased ramekins
Step 9. Set a timer for 9-10 minutes to bake the lava cake.
Step 10. Serve the chocolate lava cake with whipped cream or a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream or even fresh fruits.
