Taco Bell is a fast-food restaurant company, serving crunchy tortilla wraps filled with delectable fillings for years. Recently, an incident about a complaint by a Taco Bell customer has shocked internet users. On July 24, Jeremy, a resident from Suffolk, Virginia ordered two steak cheesy street chalupas from Taco Bell, reported Newsweek. After the first bite, he felt “something sharp” hitting the back of his throat. The same thing happened in the next bite too. This time the object hit his molars. Much to his surprise when Jeremy spit out the object, he found that it was a nose ring.

As a result of the bite, the jewellery got bent and pushed to the upper part of Jeremy's mouth. “It took a small bit of my filling with it, and [I felt] a small sharp pain from the bite. I was in pure shock when I realised what it was. I looked at my wife, and she looked over and couldn't say anything,” he said, as per the Newsweek report. Jeremy added that the “pain” resulted in him feeling sick for two days and suffering from a sore throat later on.

“Go directly to Taco Bell corporate with this. Let them know you will be reaching out to your local food safety inspectors as well. You need to report this. The health code violations are HIGH on this,” suggested someone. Irked by the event, one remarked, “I'm never getting Taco Bell again”
Following the unpleasant incident Taco Bell released a statement to Newsweek that read, “We take this very seriously. We are looking into this matter and strive to make things right with the customer.”
