American actress Courteney Cox, who received widespread recognition for playing the adorable Monica Geller in the popular sitcom F.R.I.E.N.D.S, has shared a recipe to make the yummiest-looking mocktail with lime and ginger. While at it, she also gave her fans a peek at her perfectly organised kitchen in an Instagram post. The 56-year-old actress said she made the cocktail to ring in Cinco de Mayo - an annual celebration to commemorate Mexico's victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in the year 1862. The celebration is now linked to Mexican alcoholic beverages, such as the margarita.
As the video begins, Courteney says, "For Cinco De Mayo I'm going to make a ginger-lime mocktail." She then pauses and adds,"Who am I kidding... I'm going to make a full-on cocktail." She can then be seen whipping up the ginger-lime mocktail and shaking it up in a stainless-steel shaker as she tries to dance. Check here how to make ginger fizz with lime:
After taking a sip of the drink, the producer-director says, "It's really good with or without alcohol."
The Birmingham-born actress listed a full description of the recipe for those who would want to try it at their homes. "Shake all ingredients with ice, pour, and enjoy," she added.
Her fans swooned over the video and shared their excitement in the comments section. The video has got more than 394,000 likes.
