Indian food enjoys a separate fanbase, but for those unaccustomed to high spice levels, it can be challenging. Like Indian dishes, Mexican food also has the reputation of being spicy. So, which one is spicier? Presumably, to answer the question, a Spanish-based influencer challenged a Mexican food vendor to try Indian street food. The reward? A swanky car. Accepting the dare, the vendor flew to India, starting his gastronomical journey from Kolkata's famous Lali Chhangani Club Kachori. The vlog was uploaded by the influencer on Instagram. “Sending him to try street food for a car,” read the caption.

The Mexican vendor was served a plate full of crispy kachoris, topped with aloo bhujia and served with chole masala. He took the first bite and realised his mistake. Seemed like the amalgamation of spices was just too much for him. His face was all flushed and contorted, his eyes welled with tears and he started sweating profusely. The vendor pointed at the camera that he was having goosebumps and squirmed in pain from the intensity of the spices. The man was rushed to the hospital. Upon his return, the influencer gifted him with the car as promised.
Social media users reacted to the post with their own takes. “My friend went to India and told me the food wasn't that bad, those were his last words,” said a user.
“Beware!! This is how a Peruvian influencer died,” warned another.
There were a few who were open to such a challenge. One of them wrote, “I would do it for a car too.”
Another wrote, “You almost died, what a barbaric car that cost him,” pointed out someone else.
“He proved that the stomach of India is superior to those of foreigners,” read a remark.
